İlter Bulvarı No: 27 34592 Silivri, İstanbul / Türkiye, we greatly emphasize lawful protection and processing of your personal data. In this context, we shall process personal data belonging to prospective employees (“you”) that apply to our Company pursuant to the Law no. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data (“Law/LPPD”) and applicable legislation, within the scope explained below.
This disclosure text was issued for the purpose of informing you within the scope of the recruitment process of our Company, acting in the capacity of the data controller, about the purposes of processing your personal data, legal grounds for processing, method of collection, the parties to which your personal data may be transferred, and your rights under the LPPD pursuant to article 10 of the Law and the Communiqué on Principles and Procedures to be Observed in Fulfillment of Disclosure Obligation.
This Disclosure Text explains the scope, purpose, and media pertaining to processing of your personal data, collected within the scope of your job application relationship with our Company. Details on processing of your personal data by our Company are available in our Company’s Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy.
- Your Personal Data That We Process
Our Company may process the following personal data during assessment of job applications:
- Name, surname, gender, T.R. ID Number, date of birth, home address, telephone number, e-mail, age,
- Educational background, seminar attendance details, certificate details, foreign language details, computer details, driving license details, past work experience, military service status,
- Health issues that prevent working,
- Whether you have a relative employed by the company,
- Salary earned in the previous job and/or expected salary details,
- Private personal data such as religion data that may be obtained from various identity papers or various documents such as resumé during job application process despite not having been requested by the Company, criminal convictions within the scope of criminal records, and information on security measures,
- Reference details,
- Photograph, security camera footage recorded within the scope of CCTV monitoring within the Company.
(All of the data listed above shall hereinafter be referred to as “Personal Data”.)

- Our Purposes for Processing Your Personal Data
Our Company, in its capacity as the data controller, is obliged to process your personal data pursuant to the Law and the applicable legislation. Your personal data shall be processed only in conformity with specific, clear, and legitimate purposes and the rules of law and integrity. Furthermore, our Company shall pay attention to processing your personal data with relevance to the purpose of processing, in a limited and prudent manner, and processing accurate and current data.
Our Company processes your personal data to assess your job applications and conduct recruitment processes, interview you, find out about your business manners and learning styles, and fulfill its obligations arising from the legal regulations.
- Methods and Legal Grounds for Collecting Your Personal Data
Our Company may collect your personal data verbally, as well as through physical and electronic media including physical forms, career section on our website, reference forms, photocopies, e-mails, telephone, and career portals such as Kariyer.net, İŞKUR, and LinkedIn.
Your personal data are processed pursuant to article 6(3) of the LPPD, in accordance with article 5(2)(c) of the LPPD “the need to process personal data of contractual parties, provided that it is directly related to drawing up or executing an agreement”, in accordance with article 5(2)(e) of the LPPD “requirement to process data for establishment, exercise, or protection of a right”, and in accordance with article 5(2)(f) of the LPPD “requirement of data processing for legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person are not impaired”.
- Local and Abroad Transfer of Your Personal Data and the Purpose of Transfer
Provided that adequate and effective measures are taken in accordance with the principles of security and confidentiality set forth in the legislation, your personal data can be transferred to the group companies of Lotus (Sapro Temizlik Ürünleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş., CM Holding A.Ş., Multipak Ambalaj San. Ve Tic. A.Ş., and Tetra Pazarlama ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş.,) for the purpose of ensuring fulfillment of the data transfer and processing conditions for personal data that are set forth in articles 8 and 9 of the LPPD, as well as the purposes listed above.
In case of a potential requirement, your personal data may be disclosed to law enforcement and administrative authorities for security purposes and they shall not be transferred to third parties other than competent authorities under any circumstances.
Your personal data shall not be transferred abroad under any circumstances.
- Retention, and Destruction of Your Personal Data
Our Company shall retain your personal data for the period stipulated in the applicable legislation, period required for the purpose of processing, or period required depending on establishment, exercise, and defense of a right by the Company in any potential dispute specified in article 5/2(e) of the Law. In this scope, your personal data collected during the recruitment process shall be processed diligently and in confidence by our Company for determination of your aptitude for work, and retained for maximum 1 year on electronic and physical media for consideration in the same and similar job positions.
Your personal data shall be accessible only by relevant authorized individuals within our Company, to the extent that such data are associated with the purpose of recruitment.
Upon expiration of such periods and if the Company does not have any remaining legal grounds to process your personal data, your personal data shall be immediately deleted, destroyed, or anonymized pursuant to the applicable provisions of the LPPD, the “Regulation on Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data”, and our Company Policies. You can refer to our Personal Data Storage and Disposal Policy for further details.
- Your Rights Concerning Your Personal Data
As the personal data subject, you are entitled to the following rights in respect of your personal data in accordance with article 11 of the Law:
- To find out whether your Personal Data was processed,
- To request pertinent information if your Personal Data was processed,
- To find out the purpose of processing and whether Personal Data was purposefully used,
- To find out local and foreign third parties to whom your Personal Data was transferred,
- To request correction of your personal data if it was incompletely or incorrectly processed, and request notification of this procedure to third parties to whom your personal data was transferred,
- To request deletion or destruction of your personal data in case the reasons for processing no longer exist, and request notification of this procedure to third parties to whom your personal data was transferred, even though your Personal Data was processed pursuant to the LPPD and other provisions of applicable law,
- To object to an outcome against you due to the analysis of processed data exclusively by means of automated systems,
- To request compensation if you incur losses due to unlawful processing of Personal Data.
- Exceptions to the Application Right
In the presence of circumstances (epidemic, natural disaster, identification of personnel activities posing threat to national security, etc.) that require your personal data to be “processed within the scope of preventive, protective, and informative activities conducted by public institutions and organizations that are lawfully assigned and authorized to ensure national defense, national security, public security, public order, or economic safety” as specified in clause (ç) of article 28 of the LPPD, our Company shall be obliged to transfer necessary personal data to competent public institutions and organizations. In such cases, the LPPD shall not be applicable because article 28 of the LPPD is an exception clause. However, in any event, our Company shall act in line with the fundamental principles and the principle of proportionality in data processing activities to be conducted in this scope.
- Recourses within the Scope of Your Rights
You can make your applications regarding your aforementioned rights pursuant to the application procedures stipulated in the Communiqué on Principles and Procedures for Application to the Data Controller. In order to exercise your rights within the scope of the LPPD, you should file an application as follows, accompanied by identification documents;
- In case of application in person; written application shall be made to the Company’s address, Ortaköy Mah. İlter Bulvarı No: 27 34592 Silivri, İstanbul / Türkiye, by writing “Information Request Pursuant to the Law on Protection of Personal Data” on the envelope.
- In case of application by service of notice through notary public; written application shall be made to the Company’s address, Ortaköy Mah. İlter Bulvarı No: 27 34592 Silivri, İstanbul / Türkiye, by writing “Information Request Pursuant to the Law on Protection of Personal Data” on the envelope.
- In case of application by E-Mail, written application shall be made to kvkk@lotustekstil.com.tr e-mail account, by writing “Information Request Pursuant to the Law on Protection of Personal Data” in the subject field of the e-mail.

In addition, upon announcement of other methods to be determined by the Board, our Company shall announce how applications shall be received by such methods.
